we're prayerfully trying to make a decision and this is one of the hardest things i've had to figure out in my life. i don't want to hear negativity about what we decide. people in california tell us to move back and people in utah tell us to stay here. i've heard ALL of the reasons why, i understand what is involved cost wise, school and residency wise and happiness wise with both. this is something we've been considering for the past 5 months, so i don't want anyone's negativity telling us that we CAN'T do it, because people do it every gosh dang day.
p.s. thanks for the comments and support :) i appreciate all of the wonderful friends and family who are willing to support us in whatever we decide.
Wow...it sounds like the exact thing that Gregg and I recently went through. The biggest and HARDEST decision we have had to ever make. We heard so much negative (and supportive) advice, but it seemed like the negative was just so much more strong! Next time we're on facebook at the same time....send me an instant message and we can talk!
ReplyDeleteYou guys know that I love and support you no matter where you live. It's been fun having you so close, but you need to do what's best for you! Good luck with the decision!!!
ReplyDeleteWho are these jerks?? the way i see it, as long as you're with each other that's all that matters. It's your marriage not theirs. realizing this since I've been married has really helped me.
ReplyDeleteDont Eff With The Fenns! I love you both very much. Dont worry more than you need to. Take a leap in whatever direction you feel is best and trust the heavenly father will make it work.
ReplyDeleteit's ultimately up to you guys.. don't listen to the negative comments.. people are lame + someone is ALWAYS going to have something to say about your choices. moving to utah from illinois was the hardest decision, and we heard positive + negative from friends + family and finally just decided that we needed to do what was right for us! good luck in your decision whatever the outcome is :)
ReplyDeleteI'd like to say it gets easier. But in our experience, it seems that the Lord likes to keep testing. I like to call it our "refiners fire" We're in the middle of one right now too. We've moved from Utah to California then back to Utah. But we KNOW each move was right for us. Listen to the positive messages people are giving you. Fast. Pray. Trust each other and the Lord. It'll work out eventually, even when it seems like it isn't right now. Good luck!!
