Thanksgiving

We had an awesome Thanksgiving weekend! We enjoyed family visiting from Utah, good food, and the boys got plenty of guitar hero in. Here's some shots of Blake and David rockin' out, and some pictures of Chloe that David and I took. We also went out to the shooting range later in the day to try out the shotgun that my Nana gave to David. It was LOUD!

Our weekends.

For the past couple of weeks, we've been having Greg and Cori up for dinner and a movie and it's been a ton of fun! This past weekend we had Dan and Anisha up here too...the girls went for pedicures while the boys played video games, then we made dinner and played the newlywed game. Finally, couple friends!

Our Splurge

A week ago we were walking around Victoria Gardens and suddenly decided to get ourselves some things we've been wanting for a long time. That's right, David FINALLY talked me into letting him get XBox 360. Was it a good idea? Who knows. But he was pretty darn excited. I've been wanting a Canon digital rebel for a while and I noticed it was on sale at Sam's Club so we stopped by there and picked one up for us. We already have an awesome Canon point-and-shoot, but I am serious about becoming a semi-good photographer and I plan on taking classes when we move to Provo, so we decided to get the digital rebel. We've been practicing with it- it takes such clear pictures, and there's so much you can do with it. We took a ton of fun pictures with Greg, Cori, Dan and Anisha this weekend so I'll have to post those soon.

Versailles, France

One of my favorite sites was Versailles where the Royal families used to live. I knew a little bit about Marie Antoinette before we went since I had seen the Sophia Coppola version. The whole palace is amazing but the best is the gardens. They are AMAZING. The grounds in the back of the palace fade into the horizon. There's lakes, hidden courtyards, lawns and huge trees everywhere. Marie knew how to live it up, that's for sure. I guess she had a lot of time on her hands...

Paris, France

The arc de triomphe, the eiffel tower, and the louvre- the picture of david was his reaction when we got to the inside area of the louvre where the pyramids are. It's huge! There was really no way to capture any of these things in a photo, but we did the best we could! I had the best bread I've ever had in France, the best nutella filled crepes-and saw more gypsies than you can imagine.

Florence

Here's me with Dresden by the river and David and Dres chillin' in front of the Duomo. Florence was fun for us because it was the end of our trip, so we were tired, which meant that we spent most of our time hanging out with Dresden.
