Jude is 6 months old! The 8th of every month comes quicker and quicker and he is getting so big. For his 6 month checkup he was 27 1/4 inches (90th percentile) and 18 pounds (50th in weight for his height). This boy's got chubby legs but a long, skinny torso. His hair is slowly growing back in and getting lighter and lighter. Both bottom teeth are in and SUPER sharp.
Jude wears 6-9 month clothing. A lot of things are too short on his arms or legs but too big around his waist, so some clothes are a challenge. He will not keep shoes on for anything. He likes wearing his baseball cap, tho.
He's very content, especially when other babies/people are around for him to observe. He loves toys, his pacifier, his blankies, being tickled, bath time, eating any food except avocados, being held, going for walks, napping in his carseat and putting everything in his mouth.
We moved this month and he has been sleeping so much better in his own room. March 3 was the first time he slept 12 hours straight. He says 'dadadada' but doesn't know what it means. We do cloth diapers sometimes, but he doesn't like the feeling of wetness so we use them sparingly.
