Abbey Road
I just saw this video on this blog and it made me miss England. And France.
Go here to see A Day in the Life of Abbey Road
And here's me at Abbey Road :)
It is a really busy street- that's why I'm standing on the curb!

Europe
Not a whole lot has been going on around our place. I have taken like zero pictures in the last month and a half. Recently David got some of Brian's Europe photos and it was fun seeing his view of the different cities. Plus he had the shots of David walking across Abbey Road! fun stuff.
We went down to California a few weeks back to pick up the BMW that was getting fixed and luckily everything worked out with the other people's insurance. That was a big relief to hear!
David is busy with school and I'm still working. We're excited to head to Las Vegas in a week and a half to celebrate David's 30th birthday. Also, my little brother got his mission call and he's going to Nicaragua! He is beyond ecstatic. That's really all that's been going on. Enjoy the old photos...

Versailles, France
One of my favorite sites was Versailles where the Royal families used to live. I knew a little bit about Marie Antoinette before we went since I had seen the Sophia Coppola version. The whole palace is amazing but the best is the gardens. They are AMAZING. The grounds in the back of the palace fade into the horizon. There's lakes, hidden courtyards, lawns and huge trees everywhere. Marie knew how to live it up, that's for sure. I guess she had a lot of time on her hands...

Paris, France
The arc de triomphe, the eiffel tower, and the louvre- the picture of david was his reaction when we got to the inside area of the louvre where the pyramids are. It's huge! There was really no way to capture any of these things in a photo, but we did the best we could! I had the best bread I've ever had in France, the best nutella filled crepes-and saw more gypsies than you can imagine.

EUROPE

We had a BLAST in Europe- We were there from October 1st to the 18th and visited London, Paris, Venice, Rome and Florence. The picture showing the back of me is Versailles, in France where Marie Antoinette lived. The grounds are ridiculously huge and seem to fade into the horizon. In London we walked a lot and even ended up seeing Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson filming a movie near the Thames. The black and white is me at Abbey Road. We spent a lot of time at the Eiffel Tower- we went there 3 times. At night it's all lit up. The tower is easy to see because it's a lot taller than everything else around it. The top is us on our gondola ride. We traveled through the canals all over Venice and even saw Marco Polo's house. We took about 700 pictures all together so there should be more posts coming soon! For some reason our mac won't let us upload pictures so i'm posting here at work what I have saved on the computer. Hopefully we'll figure it out soon!
