This weekend we drove down to CA and saw my family, spent time on the lake (notice Ryan & Brady sailing), saw two movies, went to a wedding and reception, and of course hung out with Chloe. The good news is that we taught her to say 'boo-yah'.
The last 2 weeks...after celebrating my birthday, David decided to do some fishing in the river, we went to see our friend's baby be blessed in Salt Lake but got lost and walked around the temple instead, and celebrated the 4th by bbqing, watching movies, and watching the fireworks from rock canyon park with Christiana and Justin, Kristine and Jordan, and Keith and Nathan.
Not sure if you know, but Nutella is one of my favorite things to eat. It's a chocolate hazelnut spread and it's really popular in Italy and I found out, other parts of Europe. It showed up in every country we visited, and I was not sad about that at all. Our first taste was a Nutella crepe, devoured by us as we walked in Notting Hill. In Paris we ate Nutella crepes while watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle. In Florence we had Nutella gelato...and I found this gelateria with HUGE jars of Nutella in the window. Dresden told me you can buy them in bulk like that at the store...I don't remember the cost exactly, but it was a lot of euros...
We're starting up a photo blog which will hopefully lead to a photo website, to show some of our work as we try to see what we can do with our hobby....check it out! Most you've probably already seen, but there's a new portrait shoot up and more should be coming soon!
Me and some girlfriends decided to dedicate our Thursday nights to spending time with eachother, making food and possibly creating something fun for our houses. We kick the boys out and chill for a few hours. So far we've grilled, baked, and made homemade pizza. YUM!
Lola's finally here! We went and visited her and Zac and Kara in the hospital yesterday. We didn't want to take too many pictures of her because it was dark in the room and I didn't want to flash on her face. But she sure is cute! Kara said she looks like little baby girl Zac. She has a ton of hair. She just has a little IV because Kara had a fever, but other than that she's doing great. David even held her for a bit!
